Online written examination for PhD in English

I got selected for the second stage, i.e. online written examination for admission in the PhD program in English. Can anyone tell me what's the paper like? The email they sent is rather vague. I just want to get an idea.

Edit: The mail says, "You will be asked to answer two questions, and your answers will take the form of short essays. The questions will be geared to test skills of literary analysis and academic writing, as well as to check that candidates have read at least some amount of literature, though not of any specific type or in any specific language. There is no set syllabus for the written exam." The exam will be online and from home.

Her questions emerge from observations of regions and communities in the western part of the Indian subcontinent—Gujarat, Kutch, and Sindh.
