Spend 2 hours last night looking for this 30 minute shortfilm and finally www.bilibili.tv/en/video/2001367373
Its basically Catholic Batman in the victorian era. Also still cant get over the fact that we lost multiple spin offs and series bcz of bad reviews on the movie. This short shows how passionate they were. wouldv loved to see more of Huge Jacked Man take on gothic literary monsters.

Reason of the rating? Jekyll and Hyde baby🔥♥️🥰

Um short film de animação que segue, basicamente, a história comentada por Van Helsing durante o encontro com Mr. Hyde na Catedral de Notre Dame no início do filme. Era um história necessária? Não, mas é um complemento a mais na história do filme, não é algo que me agrida.

Alan Partridge: Right, OK. Van Helsing, Dracula Untold, The Mummy. What does that say to you about reboots based on Universal Horror that attempt to start a cinematic universe?
Tony Hayers: There's too many of them?
Alan Partridge: That's one way of looking at it, another way of looking at it is, people like them, let's make some more of them. A horror film based in Norwich called "Swallow". Swallow is a vampire who tackles vandalism. Bit of a maverick, not afraid to bite a few necks if he thinks it's necessary. He's not king of the vampires, you know, but he will, perhaps, turn into a bat, if, for example, he wants to get somewhere quickly... [Tony shakes his…

Pretty neat little American OVA featuring Hugh Jackman's Vatican-backed monster hunter in an adventure involving royal physician Dr. Henry Jekyll draining the souls of London's forgotten women in order to keep Queen Victoria mesmerized and supernaturally young. Cool possibly From Hell-inspired conspiracyish plot and some cool visual style, Van Helsing looks kind of like The Shadow. Almost certainly better than the movie it was created to promote.

I would have preferred this short cartoon to have developed into a Van Helsing movie because even this little bit we got is much better than the movie.
This short cartoon is a the story of Jack the Ripper combined with the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
The cartoon starts mysteriously and provides a good basis for the further story, but due to its short duration, it quickly jumps to parts of the chase in order to make some kind of complete ending.
The animation is also well done, and I'm sorry that this cartoon isn't a bit longer, because it would have been much better and more popular.

Universal. DVD 1.78 :1 Color Digital 12 A nice little prologue of the Van Helsing character with a decent amount of depth. Jackman's accent feels a little off but his voice work is great and dynamic with Wenham sounds and works well. The animation itself looks great and surprisingly violent throughout. It's twist on events in London was interesting but barely touched the surface.

A supplement of one of the most criminally maligned movies of the 2000's. It was like a janky, yet still fun episode of Gargoyles or Batman: The Animated Series, fairly solid in content. My only real problem is that this should've been a DVD extra instead.
This is a fantastic Mr. Hyde.

Remember that Hugh Jackman Van Helsing movie that was massive in 2004 and no ones really talked about it since? This was like a promo or cash in animated movie from around its release. It's not horrible, change the names of the characters and you're just watching an animated Batman movie.
