Beach and my soul, essay on beach cleaning.

Beach is one of my favourite places to visit. I feel so refreshed after visiting a beach. It makes my body and mind active, and I think it is the best place on this planet where we can enjoy ourselves with our friends and family members. I love playing with the sand and building sandcastles with my friends. We made a huge sandcastle on our last visit to the beach and named it ‘The Castle of Wonders’. My friend and I announced ourselves as the two kings of that castle and placed two flags above it. The red flag I put represented me as the king of the castle, and the blue one represented my friend. We also clicked a picture standing before our majestic sandcastle, and I consider it one of the greatest moments of my life.

The unpredictability of waves always amazes me. The way they hit the shores is magical. I love playing with waves; my friends and I run away from the waves to avoid getting our legs washed by them. We also write random names and words on the sand and watch them getting cleared away by the waves. It is an exciting game that fills my heart with bliss. English Summary

A Day at the Beach Essay

A beach is an area of sand or small stones around the sea. I spent a day at Marina Beach in Chennai when I went there with my family on vacations. It was one of the best days of my life. I always wanted to visit the beach because it is a lot of fun.

Before we reached the beach, we bought caps and swimming dresses at the shops. When we reached the beach, I was so excited because everyone was enjoying the sea. Other children were playing with sand.

The beach was surrounded by dense trees and it was very clean. My mother sat on the sand under a tree and took out a book to read. My sister and I went to play with the water in the sea. We splashed water on each other and enjoyed the sea waves when they made us go up and down. After some time, we came back. Then I and my sister made a sandcastle. I also collected shells on the beach and we decorated the castle with them.

We bought fruits on the beach and also drank coconut water after that. When it was evening, we saw the setting sun. It looked like the sun was going inside the sea. We took a lot of pictures of this scene.

The beach became more splendid when the sky turned red. After six o’clock, we went to the changing room and took bath and changed our clothes because the guards did not allow us to be on the beach after sunset. We came back to our hotel and we all talked about our day. We all were so happy because the day was well spent.

Are you ready for a fun-filled adventure at the beach?

It was a beautiful summer day, and the sun was shining brightly in the sky. A group of friends had been planning a trip to the beach for weeks, and finally, the day had arrived. They packed their bags with towels, sunscreen, and snacks, and made their way to the shore.

As soon as they arrived, they laid out their beach towels and began to build a sandcastle. They worked together, piling sand on top of each other until they had created a magnificent fortress with turrets and a moat. They even found some seashells and rocks to use as decorations.

Once they finished their sandcastle, they ran into the ocean to cool off. The water was refreshing, and they splashed each other and played games. Some of them swam out to the buoys, while others stayed closer to shore.

After a while, they got hungry and decided to have a picnic. They spread out a blanket and unpacked their snacks – sandwiches, fruit, chips, and cookies. They also had some cold drinks to quench their thirst. As they ate, they watched the waves and listened to the seagulls.

After lunch, they played beach volleyball and Frisbee. They even saw a group of people playing a game of beach soccer, so they joined in. They ran around the sand, kicking the ball back and forth and trying to score goals.

As the day wore on, they started to get tired. They lay down on their towels and soaked up the sun, feeling the warm sand beneath them. They talked and laughed and enjoyed each other’s company. Some of them even dozed off for a little while.

Finally, the sun began to set, and it was time to go home. They packed up their things and said goodbye to the beach. They walked back to their cars, feeling happy and content after a day filled with fun and relaxation.

As they drove away, they talked about how much they enjoyed their day at the beach and how they couldn’t wait to come back again. They all agreed that it was a perfect way to spend a summer day with good friends.

Beach Description Essay

Looking for simple and beautiful descriptive writing about a beach in summer? The beach description essay below is just what you need! Get inspired for your own creative writing with us.

Introduction

Description of a beach.

Summer is the perfect time for individuals to visit and enjoy the marvelous scenes along the coast. In addition, the feelings and experiences felt on the beach during the summer are always fantastic. Several sceneries and experiences are seen and felt at the beach during summer. These include; the plantation along the beach and inside the sea, the animals, the waters, and the people found on the beach.

The beach appears to be alive and joyful with the presence of the natural vegetation. There are evergreen plantations both along and inside the beach. Images of buoyant seaweeds can be seen along the shore. Palms trees are seen to stand tall along the beach, dancing to the tune of the breeze emanating from the waters of the sea.

The sea grapes and the sea oats are also observed gathered in clusters in the sea next to the shore. Their colored flowers are splendid and brighten at the shining of the summer sun. The sweet scent of the flower grapes sends a signal to the world about the hope brought by nature.

The atmosphere is fully intensified by the aroma produced by the buoyant sea flowers. In addition, from afar, images of leafless trees are also observed. The perfect combination of the vegetation along the beach and inside the sea displays the beauty of nature to the highest peak.

It mesmerizes the eyes to gaze at the beautiful creatures that hover all over the beach and on the deep-sea waters. There are sights of beautiful birds that fly all over the dry shoreland and over the seawaters. Their colored feathers brightened the sea with a marvelous appearance at their illumination by the sun’s rays.

There are varieties of birds that are in the vicinity. For instance, there are pelicans and seagulls. Pelicans are seen hovering over the sand, singing sweet melodies that make the atmosphere at the beach vibrant. The seagulls are also observed to be flying over the seawater in small groups. Some of the birds are gathered in groups spreading the wings that cloaked a soft shadow on the gentle water ripples.

Next to the shore, there are sea turtles that seem to enjoy the summer heat from the sun. Their eggs are also seen to be exposed on the sand by the children that play on the shoreline. Bees are seen flying from one flower to another over the sea grapes. The humming of the bees as they gather nectar from the sea flowers attracts insect-eating birds.

Large crowds are observed all over the seashore. These people come to enjoy themselves on the beach at this period of the year. In the sea, people of all ages and sexes are seen swimming and playing with the cool seawater. The scorching heat from the summer sun is felt on the forehead of all individuals.

This makes the people chill themselves in the cool waters of the sea. The children are seen playing beach ball on the shoreline. Some children are also seen pelt each other with sand on the shoreline. Besides, young boys are observed climbing tall palm trees to gather fruits.

What is more, several activities take place along and inside the shoreline. Vendors are seen carrying ice creams and soft drinks all over the shoreline. Views of homes, hotels, and other buildings that run along the peak of the beach are also seen. On the sand where children play, pieces of shells are scattered.

In most cases, children collect the shells for fun. In the shades built along the shoreline, people are seen reading books, journals, and magazines. Some are seen idling on the sand, while few adults are observed playing football.

However, there is a disgusting scene of plastic bags, cigarette butts, food wrappers, and beer bottles along the beach. These items seem to pollute the entire shoreline and the seawater.

Anglers are also observed far into the sea casting large nets into the waters to have a bulk catch of their prey. Some of the anglers are also observed perching on the edge of the shore carrying sticks in their hands. Their faces displayed the anticipation that they had for their prey.

The deep waters of the sea produce a marvelous view for anyone who gazes at the sea. The water is seen to be slowly running low on the shore. Small waves are also observed crashing on the shoreline. The surface of the sea is seen to appear blue in color.

However, some portions are also seen to have the spectrum that results from the sun’s refracted rays. Deep inside the sea, there are high waves that lift boats up and down mightily. The shimmering waves of the sea that are clear and blue mirror the rays of the hot sun. The refreshing breeze that emanates from the seawater is enjoyable.

In conclusion, the beach has a perfect view and activities that are delightful to experience during the summer. It is a place that everyone would love to be at all times.

Sample narrative essay - A day at the beach

a day at the beach essay for class 3

It was a sunny day at the beach. The sand was hot under our feet. My little brother Xoli started crying. “Pick him up, Busi,” my mother said.

I picked him up. He was so heavy. And his nose was dirty. I didn’t want that snot on my summer top! I put him down and he started crying again. “Pick him up!” my mother shouted. I picked him up again, wishing I didn’t have a baby brother who was always such a pain.

Finally we got to a good spot and spread out the towels. My mother got out her magazine and started reading. I tried to play on my cellphone but the sun was too bright. So I lay down and closed my eyes.

Suddenly I realised it was quiet – too quiet. I sat up and looked for Xoli. He was nowhere around. Then I saw him. He was digging in the sand close to the water and a big wave was coming. “Xoli!” I shouted. But he didn’t hear me.

I started running as fast as I could. My mother had heard me and she came after me too. But we were too late. The huge wave swept him off his feet. I rushed into the water and managed to grab hold of his arm before he could be sucked out to sea. I picked him up. He was spluttering and crying. When I saw he was all right I nearly started crying too. “Why did you go so far?” I started shouting.

But my mother took him from me gently. “He is just a baby, Busi. We should have been watching him.” The two of us sat with Xoli and built a sandcastle. I found shells to decorate the castle and Xoli clapped his hands. My mother went to buy us ice creams.

As I step on the granular surface of the mildly sun-drenched beach, I feel the refreshing gush of ocean air, caressing my nostrils. The water is glistening in pearly evanescence, its serenity humbly interrupted by a thunderous squeaking of the children, valiantly rushing towards the water, only to huddle even faster back, to the safety of terra firma. The circular, luminous ball in the sky is not acknowledging the arrival of noon yet, and the lack of people, sunbathing on the beach feels more than good. As I am walking, I can feel the little grains of sand protruding through my fingers, giving my sore feet a pleasant, tickling sensation. Ever since I was little, I loved walking barefoot, especially on grassy and sandy surfaces. Grass always possessed an earthly cloud-like essence in its gentle plasticity, while sand, coarse and rough at times, felt almost like an always welcome massage. On finally having found a secluded little patch of terrain, adjusted for solitary basking in the auriferous landscape of aquamarine and honey, I seat myself on my hippie-inspired towel, and continue to observe the vastness before me. My introverted meditation is again interrupted by the shrill sounds of children, squeaking in delight. One little girl is particularly loud, yet not in an annoying way, rather in a way that makes one go green with jealousy at seeing someone enjoy something so simple such as running through the shallow part of the ocean, making sure to make as big of a splash as possible. She appears to be four, maybe five years old, with a wetted hair, sticking to her gently tanned face. Her hair is shimmering in the sun, tied with two cherry-colored little bows. On her nose, traces of suntan lotion are still visible, white, urging the skin to soak them up. It was gently and very carefully smeared on by who I assume is her mother, the lady who is lying on a hammock merely a meter away, keeping her little treasure under her hawk gaze constantly. Behind the girl in the little crimson bathing suit, two white dots appear on the horizon; hopeful fishing boats and its crewmen, out for the day. I imagine their sun burnt faces, how their fingers must have soaked up the smell of the ocean, of the fish they take out, like the butcher who, no matter how often and thorough he washes his hands, the faint scent of meat perpetually remains underneath the fingernails, revealing the secret of his profession. The boats swing rhythmically, like a cradle, lulling a baby to sleep. The water is tranquil and sempiternal. Above it, the cerulean image of the sky lies prostrate as far as the eye could see, with little dabs of puffy whiteness smeared over the clear blueness. The sun is beginning to pierce the blue serenity above and below, but nobody seems to mind. More and more people are starting to gather at the beach, forming a miniature ant society, scattered throughout the cinnamon surface greeting the water. They do not mind the smell of decomposing water life forms, which float carelessly along the glass façade of water. It is the smell of saltwater, floating on a breeze and they welcome it for one, heavenly afternoon. When the time comes, they will return to their concrete jungle of car mufflers, busy streets, trash and smog. But now, the moment consumes us all, we are one with nature that spreads its marine perpetuity in front of us and embraces us as her children. She caresses us with her dripping fingers, clings to our bodies in grains of arenaceous particles, brushes past our faces in buoyant wafts of Neptunian air, and lulls our minds in the clement glow of aubade warmth. All of a sudden, I hear music, which is utterly out of tune with the tranquility that this magical place offers. One of the cafĂ© places on the beach has started playing some modern music, the one that appeals to younger people. For me, it completely disrupts the meditative qualities of the beach. I close my eyes, and endeavor to deafen the sounds of the music, giving emphasis to the squawking of the seagulls and the playful squealing of little children. I open my eyes, and the light is bewildering, yet enchanting at the same time. The people are all black dots on the auburn covering of the beach, like rare black pearls found in only some shells. This reminds me of the uniqueness that we all possess within ourselves, yet which is so easy to forget. The people are scattering around, looking for a place to settle down for the day, and put down their towels in rainbow colors. In a blink of an eye, the beach becomes an anthill of activity, the voices growing louder and louder, as faces grow by the numbers, finally transforming into one big human face that decided to inhabit the beach for the day. This is not the beach I enjoy anymore. The serenity of the place is gone; its meditative abilities have been stripped down to a commercialized noise of reckless polluters. I close my eyes and try to go back to the flapping of the seagulls’ wings and their talking to Mother Nature. The waves of music coming from the cafes and human clamor overwhelm me, and I cannot hear the gentle swaying of the ocean waves anymore. I bury my hands in the sand. It is warm and comforting to know of a constant in life. We will all dissolve, become granular, become one with the universe around us. We will all be given immortality, if only we know to appreciate it. With my eyes still closed, I smile enigmatically at the vast watery panorama in front of me, the soothing sounds of waves crashing against the rocks far away tickle my eardrums. I take the sand in my palm and let it slip through my fingers in waterfalls of sand, joining the granular plethora around me. I smile, because I hear nothing but the water anymore.

Personal Narrative Essay: A Day At The Beach

I stretched my arms out and looked up and down the beach. Although I lived in Waikiki for years, it'd been far too long since I took a vacation, let alone the beach, since I'm dealing with neverending piles of school assignments and activities. As I strolled along the coastline I can feel the soft smooth sand beneath my feet. I was taken in by the soothing atmosphere that encircled me. I closed my eyes, letting myself absorb the blistering rays of the sun on a scorching summer day. The beach was oddly quiet for this time of that year, only a handful of people sunbathing. I didn't mind, I was going to enjoy myself. I headed out to the water after setting up my towel. The shock of the frigid water took my breath away and I was momentarily stunned. However, I quickly recovered; finding my body adjusts rapidly to the cold water. I waded a few feet into it before leaning forward and swimming out. I didn't dare to go too far though, instead turning to swim parallel to the shore. I was comforted by the sounds of the ocean; the rhythmic pounding of the waves represses all of my worries. I looked into the cloudless cerulean blue sky and see the perfection of life. Just when I was starting to get tired and wanted to go back to the shore, I saw something. Off the distance of the coastline, there was …show more content…

Those who are young with energy and risk takers, revel in a hearty chase. This so happens to occur in human nature, something unreachable seemingly captivate our attention, and in turn shadows us even more to grab at it. I know what we saw in each other in those numbered days. A sudden exhilaration for the opposite, with each passing day, we grew more intrigued by each other's mere presence and actions. Fishing was a trigger of our emotions, a connection surpassing physical attention, or mental attention. It was a unification of two souls borne from one

Descriptive Essay On The Ocean City

After traveling for 3-hours, my family arrived at our beach house in Ocean City Maryland. After making a quick trip for groceries, we decided to go to bed and set alarm clocks for early in the morning. After a good nights sleep, I woke up to the pleasant smell of bacon and eggs. After feasting on a delightful breakfast, my brothers and I began to get ready for the beach. We went down the creaky wooden stairs of our beach house and unlocked the storage room located beneath the home. I decided to carry both of the floral umbrellas while my brothers took the portable beach chairs. After grabbing all of our gear, we headed back up the weathered stairs and towards the distant sand dunes. As we approached the entrance of the sand dunes, the satisfying sounds of the ocean's waves started to become closer and closer. Once we traveled closer, the vivid orange sun began to ascend from the deep sea. At this early point in the morning, the sand walkway enclosed by dunes, hadn't heated up from the sun, so the sand had a soothing feeling of cool sand between each toe. Upon reaching the shore, we noticed that not many beachgoers had set up their

At this early point in the morning, the sand walkway enclosed by

Grasping out I grabbed the small creature out from the water and onto my hand. I had noticed that he was curled as to give my open and much larger hand, a hug. After, realizing he meant no harm I began to put him back in the water, back to his home along with all the other creatures of the deep blue sea. Then, as I took at the small star fly into the water I look out as seen the beautiful waves of blue and white coming towards me with an accompaniment of fresh salt water air. Speech on A day at the Beach (Seashore)

March 20, 2018 by Study Mentor Leave a Comment

Respected Teachers and my fellow friends, today I am going to speak few sentences on “A day at the beach”

Beaches are the water of the seas when it comes to an end. The water come and mixes with the land. It brings with itself sands and other items.

Beaches are formed by the sands brought in by the seas. The sands get built up day by day and the beaches develop slowly. Beaches are excellent places of human interaction and activity. Beaches form the center point of tourist attraction. Not only tourists but also sellers.

I had an opportunity to spend a day at the beach. It happened when we went on a trip to Goa. We were taken to Goa as an educational trip from the collage.

The nearest beach from our accommodation was Benaulim beach . It is a beach less crowded. Hence it was good for college students like us who would make a lot of noise.

Morning was the time when we went for a bath at the beach. On reaching the beach we saw the crystal clear blue water rising and down the horizon.

We saw the golden sands shining like little pearls in the sunlight. It seemed as if the beach was calling us to come and enjoy its splendor.

We ran across the beach. On the way we saw strict life guards standing and guarding the coast. They had sharp eyes which were always on lookout, always in search of some danger. Somehow their presence made us feel secure. Any danger, one call and they would be there.

We kept our shoes at a side and ran in the water. Then came endless jumping and thrashing in water. There were surfers too.

Riding on high waves deep in the water. We were tossed to and fro by the lashing waves. There were times when the water covered up my head and I was completely submerged in water. The water was very salty in taste.

Seashore

So, I shifted my site to place farther away and started building another one. In the meantime, my friends had built a few more masterpieces. One built a car, another built a sculpture.

Few others built castles. After that we were all very tired.

There were a lot of shops along the coast. Some sold knick-knacks made of sea shells. Things such as cowrie shell necklace, bracelet, earrings were available in almost every shop.

Other shops sold snacks, tea and sea food. There was an authentic line of sea foods, from squids to sharks, from starfishes to eels to oyster, everything was available to excite the taste buds.

We had a whole meal of chili pepper fried squid and creamy oyster sauce soup, and believe me or not it tasted like nothing that I could have ever eaten before.

The taste was so different and unique. I was a bit uneasy before having the seafood but after tasting it once I liked it so much that I didn’t stop until I finished it full.

Later we hired bicycles to roam around the beach. We saw foreigners basking in the sun tanning their sun, coolly sipping a lemonade.

We saw kids playing in the water just like we did. It was fun cycling around the beach. One could feel the breeze striking the eyes and hair and enjoy the beauty of the scenes which nature presented.

Night brought in another phase of the beach. The water slowly changed its color along with the sky. The water first changed it color from blue to yellow then to orange and then red. Finally, it turned dark red and black. It was amazing to see these color changes.

As if nature was taking its own time to paint the water according to its mood. When finally, the night fell we set up the fire for our campfire.

We made wonderful tandoor on the smoking fire. We burnt the chicken added spices and ate, and it was heavenly. After eating we took some time to walk along the beach.

The sound of the waves hitting the shore was pleasing to the eyes. It was pleasant to walk in the light breeze. The night at the beach was filled with splendor. The starry sky and the dark clouds blended well the water. You cannot see the horizon.

The horizon blends in with the water. The sky and water seems to be one uniform body. Only the waves can be seen covered in white foam rising up and down.

The allure of the beach.

The beach, a natural wonder, serves as a captivating subject due to its multifaceted appeal. It is a place where the land meets the sea, a boundary of two contrasting, yet harmonious ecosystems. The beach is not just a geographical location, but a symbol of serenity, adventure, and the sublime power of nature.

Symbol of Serenity

The beach is often associated with tranquility. The rhythmic ebb and flow of the waves, the soft whisper of the sea breeze, and the warm touch of the sun amalgamate to create a soothing atmosphere. It is a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of city life, a place where one can reflect, relax, and rejuvenate.

Adventure and Exploration

On the other hand, the beach also represents adventure. It’s a playground for surfing, diving, and other water sports. The coastal ecosystem, brimming with diverse marine life, provides opportunities for exploration and learning. The unending horizon invokes a sense of mystery and curiosity, pushing one to venture beyond the known.

The Sublime Power of Nature

Lastly, the beach is a testament to the sublime power of nature. The vast expanse of the sea, the towering waves, and the unpredictable weather patterns are humbling reminders of our insignificance against the forces of nature. It is a place that inspires awe and respect for the natural world.

In conclusion, the beach, with its serene beauty, adventurous spirit, and sublime power, holds a unique appeal. It is a place of paradoxes, where tranquility coexists with adventure, and humility with awe-inspiring grandeur.

500 Words Essay on Beach

The beach, a place of relaxation, invigoration, and inspiration, has been a magnet for humans throughout history. It’s a natural arena where the elements of earth, water, and air converge, creating an environment that’s simultaneously soothing and stimulating.

Geographical Significance

From a geographical perspective, beaches are much more than just beautiful landscapes. They are dynamic systems shaped by the intricate interplay of geological, biological, and climatic factors. The constant ebb and flow of tides, the sedimentary processes, and the impact of weather patterns all contribute to the ever-changing profile of a beach. It’s a living testament to the power and persistence of nature.

Ecological Importance

Ecologically, beaches host a diverse array of flora and fauna, serving as crucial habitats for many species. The intertidal zones teem with life, from microscopic plankton to larger marine creatures. Coastal vegetation, such as mangroves and sea oats, help stabilize the sand dunes, playing a vital role in preventing beach erosion. These ecosystems are delicate, often bearing the brunt of human activities and climate change, necessitating concerted conservation efforts.

Symbolism in Culture and Literature

In culture and literature, beaches have been potent symbols. They’ve been portrayed as places of solitude, romance, and introspection, offering a canvas for writers and artists to explore the human condition. The beach’s dual nature, both comforting and wild, mirrors our own internal struggles and triumphs.

Beaches as Socioeconomic Hubs

The socioeconomic aspect of beaches cannot be overlooked. They are hubs of tourism, driving local economies through a myriad of activities like swimming, surfing, and beachcombing. Beachfront properties are prized real estate, and coastal cities often rank among the world’s most vibrant metropolises. However, this economic boon can come at an environmental cost, necessitating sustainable development practices.

Therapeutic Value

The therapeutic value of beaches is widely acknowledged. The rhythmic sound of waves, the warmth of the sun, and the tactile sensation of sand beneath the feet can have a calming effect, reducing stress and promoting mental well-being. The beach also offers a space for physical activities, contributing to overall health.

The Future of Beaches

The future of beaches, however, hangs in the balance. Rising sea levels, pollution, and unchecked development pose significant threats. It’s incumbent upon us to safeguard these natural treasures for future generations. This entails a shift towards responsible tourism, stringent environmental regulations, and public awareness campaigns about the importance of beach conservation.

In conclusion, beaches are more than just scenic locales for leisure and recreation. They are dynamic systems, rich ecosystems, cultural symbols, economic powerhouses, and therapeutic havens. As we bask in the beauty and bounty of beaches, we must also strive to protect and preserve them. Their survival is not just a matter of environmental concern, but a testament to our ability as a species to live in harmony with nature.

a day at the beach essay for class 3

English Essay, Paragraph on “A day at the beach” Essay in 250 words for class 8, 9, 10, and 12 Students.

A day at the beach.

It was the end of year holidays. Helen and her brother, Kevin, were bored to tears. They had been watching television programmes for the past one week and they wished their parents would take them out somewhere.

So, when their father said that he was going to take them to the beach, they immediately jumped for joy. Helen helped her mother to prepare some sandwiches while Kevin got the balls, spades, and pails ready.

When they arrived at the beach, the place was rather crowded. Fortunately, they were able to find a spot directly under a shady tree. Their mother laid a mat and then placed their things on it. Helen and Kevin, together with their father, got changed and jumped into the cool refreshing water for a swim.

After swimming for about an hour, Kevin suggested that they build sandcastles. Helen agreed as that was her favourite activity. Both began having a competition to see who could build a bigger and nicer sandcastle.

When Kevin saw that Helen’s sandcastle was much nicer than his, he got angry and kicked sand into Helen’s eyes. Helen shrieked and her father, who was nearby, ran forward to see what had happened.

When Helen told him what happened, he scolded Kevin immediately. Kevin realised his mistake and the severity of his actions. He hurriedly apologised to his sister and also promised his father that he would not do that again.

After that, they packed up and headed home. Besides the minor incident, everyone enjoyed themselves very much.
