Home Depot’s success lies in its sharp focus on one category and strategic acquisitions, especially in ecommerce, which now makes up 6.4% of its revenue. This smart play has paid off big time, with a hefty $37.7 billion in online sales revenue by October 2023.
7. Craigslist
- Estimated number of monthly visitors (2023): 170.6M
Craigslist is an online store where pretty much anything and everything is just a click away. Since its launch in 1995, it’s become more than just a classifieds site; it’s a virtual marketplace connecting millions across the US.
Need a new apartment? Check. Looking for a rare vinyl record? It’s probably there. Want to offer your skills as a freelancer? Post away. With sections covering jobs, housing, sales, services, and even community discussions, it’s a convenient resource.
Whether you’re buying, selling, or just browsing, Craigslist offers a unique mix. Sure, you’ll find the usual suspects like electronics and media, but it’s the blend of the every day and the extraordinary that keeps users coming back.
8. Best Buy
- Estimated number of monthly visitors (2023): 167M
Best Buy, starting as an audio shop in the 1960s, is now a top spot for all things tech. In 1983, they shifted to consumer electronics, and they’ve been on a roll ever since.
They teamed up with GeekSquad in 2002, making tech support a breeze. As the top consumer electronics retailer in the US, they always have their customers covered – whether it’s setting up your new TV or fixing a laptop.
As shopping moved online, Best Buy kept up. Their website now offers way more than just basic computer electronics and mobile devices. You can find baby products, outdoor living essentials, and just about anything related to health and wellness.
Best Buy’s ecommerce store stands out with “Best Buy Drops,” an innovative approach leveraging their mobile app. During the holiday season, it provides exclusive deals available in limited quantities, creating a sense of urgency. What sets Best Buy apart is their ability to tailor pricing and timing for these offers to entice buyers.
- Estimated number of monthly visitors (2023): 122.3M
Wayfair is where your home decor journey begins. Started in 2002 as CSN Stores, it’s continuing to grow into a bustling online marketplace. Here, over 10,000 suppliers from around the world showcase an array of furniture and home goods.
The secret to Wayfair’s success is smart technology. They use machine learning and data science to help navigate through their extensive catalogue, making your search for that perfect sofa or lamp an easy task.
Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of tech experts and designers works to keep the shopping experience smooth and inspiring. It’s no surprise then that they managed to rake in a decent $12 billion by September 2023.
- Estimated number of monthly visitors (2023): 122M
The last of our top ecommerce sites is Costco, another retail giant where users can find everything they want and need. Costco has made its mark not only in its massive warehouse stores but also online, where over 45% of its members contribute to its ecommerce sales.
Globally, Costco operates over 855 warehouses, and each one is like a city of products that offer quality and value that’s hard to beat. Its Kirkland Signature brand, in particular, reflects its commitment to quality.
Costco’s success boils down to smart growth, great prices, and a loyal membership base. These factors consistently boost their sales, resulting in an impressive $56.72 billion in online sales revenue by November 2023.
How many ecommerce companies operate in the US?
As of 2023, there are approximately 13.98 million ecommerce sites operating in the United States. This makes the U.S. home to about 53% of all ecommerce websites globally, far exceeding any other country.
What is the most popular online store in the US?
The most popular online store in the US, as indicated by consumer feedback, is Amazon. It’s no surprise given that Amazon holds the position of the leading U.S. ecommerce giant with the largest market share.

These Are the 30 Best Online Shopping Sites To Bookmark Right Now
Browse for something special.
@t.a.newyork
As a former market editor, a job where I often joked I “shopped for a living,” I came across more brands and retailers than one could ever thoughtfully bookmark on Instagram. The online retail market is extremely saturated, and while doing research for editorials and market stories, it became clear certain retailers control Google searches, leading customers to specific sites and guiding them in what to buy. Those aren’t always the sites that will satisfy you as a buyer, though.
In my extensive market searching, I often found that I was better off heading to some smaller niche retailers to find goods that suited my needs and requirements when online shopping. Those needs include: mindful sourcing, sustainability, price points, and varied ownership.
Ahead, I’ve laid out 30 online retailers that, whether you’re familiar with or not, are the best places to shop online for items you feel a connection to and know a little bit more about.
@antidotesworld
This sustainable-focused, multi-brand luxury shop provides a mix of basics and very eclectic pieces. You'll likely find a new favorite brand or two when scrolling through Antidote’s assortment. It’s good for just browsing or hunting for a very original gift.
@apocstore
Identifying as a platform for fashion, design, and art, APOC offers some really eclectic pieces, including one-off handmade gems.
@aunecollections
Based in Lisbon, this concept store stocks vintage archival items and contemporary pieces from emerging brands. The in-house brand also offers made-to-order pieces, a way of limiting extra production.
@beklinawoman
This online shop is a mix of in-house label and a tight edit of several other brands with a focus on sustainability. It's best known for knitwear, but don’t forget to peep the comfortable clogs.
Cafe Forgot
@cafe_forgot
This New York concept shop is a labor of love: the owners—two Brooklyn natives—carry designs (many one-off items) from designers they know and personally love. The shop's Instagram is a real joy for discovering new young designers, and when you purchase, you know you’re investing in a piece of artwork. It’s a great place to look if you’re experimental with dressing and style or just want inspiration.
It's likely not the first time you’ve heard of Etsy, and most certainly not the first time you’ve heard it from me. Etsy lands my list because it is the greatest place to search for artisanal and vintage goods if you know exactly what you are looking for. The key is to be as specific as possible in your searches and use several names for an item (i.e. sweater versus knit versus cardigan). It can take time, but man, is it worth it. It's a treasure trove for both vintage and independent sellers, which means you can find many local, sustainable, and hand-made goods. Etsy also lets you shop within your budget via its price range feature. It is also a favorite of mine for interior design.
Frankie Shop
@frankieshop
This boutique is on the higher end, with locations in both Paris and Downtown NYC. It's a favorite of mine not only for really great investment pieces and basics, but also a source for cool styling tricks from their online product shots. It skews trendy with “it” brands and styles. Much of the outerwear is quite timeless and is a category not to miss.
@galeriela
This Black-owned shop focuses on sustainability. The founder, Dechel Mckillian, came from the world of celebrity styling so has an eye for what’s cool with a focus on socially conscious fashion. The items you’ll find here aren’t trend-focused. My personal favorite category is jewelry and accessories, so peep that for some pretty affordable options. Note: this shop does very fantastic sales so look out for those.
@garmentory
Garmentory carries products from over 1000 independent boutiques carrying over 3000 designers from around the world. You can see the exact boutique you're purchasing from when you buy an item. Think of it as a boutique marketplace: Every purchase you make goes through the designer or boutique directly. I’ve found incredible sales on designer items at Garmentory, plus items that are elsewhere totally sold out.
Industrie Africa
@industrieafrica
This boutique carries the latest in African fashion. You can shop a curated edit of the African fashion industry's key new and emerging brands that are otherwise often not available online. The website makes it easy to shop sustainable with a clearly marked sustainability icon on items that fit the standard, which many do. The website also lets you shop by “edit,” which is helpful if you’re looking for something like a gift or a specific thing like a suit or set.
Joan The Store
@joanthestore
Joan is an independent online store based in London showcasing emerging and established brands, including hot brands with items often sold out at larger shops and also emerging brands that you won’t find elsewhere.
La Garçonne
@lagarconne_official
A highly curated shop for the “elegantly understated” customer, La Garçonne carries luxury brands with a specific style in mind: mostly timeless and minimalist. It carries a mix of well-known and under-the-radar luxury brands with products that won’t tire after a single season. Don’t sleep on the sale section. If you loved Totokaelo (RIP) you may find solace in La Garçonne.
@shoplcd
Based in L.A., this high-end shop is an independent concept store that focuses on emerging contemporary designers from around the world, with a focus on sustainability. A mix of accessories, beauty, homeware, and fashion, LCD is a really good place to go for gift-giving.
Lisa Says Gah
@lisasaysgah
LSG focuses on environmentally conscious, female-owned brands. It has a lot of trendy items from “it” brands, and its in-house label is reasonably priced and very, very cool.
Maison de Mode
@maisondemode
This luxury Black-owned multi-brand shop cites itself as a global platform for sustainable fashion. You'll find icons next to products so you know if the brand the item you are buying from includes categories like BIPOC, female-owned, made in the USA, recycled, and charitable. There are really, really good items—both trend-driven and timeless—if you want to purchase an investment piece of quality.
@mall.nyc
This is a shop of independent artists who use unique methods, reimagined materials, and vintage pieces in limited quantities. You will discover a new designer when shopping here, and it’s truly eye candy with items that are very innovative, original, and incredibly creative (think: bungee cord tops and handmade patchwork pants). While items can be pricey (you’re buying art!), you can also find items for great prices (a $50 bucket hat and really cool $40 hand-made one-of-a-kind frilly socks) if you scroll along.
New Classics
@shopnewclassics
Based in Canada, New Classics is a sustainability-driven luxury online retailer embracing the idea of “slow fashion” and allowing customers to know exactly where the product they’re purchasing is from with a comprehensive “standards” index, useful for knowing details about the item like if it was handmade, organic, fair-trade, recycled, made in the U.S.A. or Canada, etc. And beyond that, it carries really cool new labels of clothing, accessories, beauty, and homeware.
No. 6 Store
@no6store
A mix of vintage and contemporary goods, No. 6 also has an in-house label of clothing, accessories, and footwear, most famous for iconic clogs in various styles. The store is, in my opinion, synonymous with upscale Downtown NYC style. I personally found the coolest pair of recycled denim—two different jeans made together—back when I was in college that I still treasure today. I can also confirm the clogs wear well, and you’ll have them for life. Be on the lookout for sales, as it's on the pricier side and the sales are very, very good.
Not Just a Label
@notjustalabel
With a roster of over 35,000 brands since its birth in 2008, NJAL is an online shop with brands you will not find elsewhere, coming from over 150 countries. You can even search by country of origin. NJAL invests in artists, from wearable everyday items to statement pieces. Because the brands are small and independent—with product that is often handmade—the items skew on the pricier side.
@theoutnet
A top place for designer items at serious discounts. I have found archival designer gems at The Outnet for a fraction of their original cost, including items I had coveted from the time it walked the runway. Think: Net-a-Porter (its sister site), but at a fraction of the cost. The Outnet also has seasonal sales, which discount these items even further. Sizes and quantities are limited, which can certainly be frustrating, and during sale season, items sell out very fast. Similarly, the sister website Yoox is also a great place for the same sort of thing (though their product imagery isn’t quite as good).
@shop_peche
This Instagram-popular shop is known for its accessibility and low-priced goods. I love the flats, loafers, and knitwear. Sizing is fairly limited.
Source Unknown
@sourceunknown.store
A multi-brand retailer with a focus on contemporary trends, Source Unknown was founded in 2020 and has since been a popular shop for trend-focused, wallet-friendly items. One thing to note: sizing options are limited.
Stand Up Comedy
@standupcomedytoo
Known for the “uncommon,” this shop is a limited and eclectic mix of goods. It specializes in experimental and progressive clothing, accessories, art objects, and printed matter. It’s kind of like going to an online art fair, but with a focus on fashion. Prices reflect the artistic and often handmade quality of the items.
@t.a.newyork
Founder Telsha Anderson began T.a. as a luxury concept store, providing products that she personally sourced from countries around the world. You’ll find brands—both established and new—that you won’t find in many other places, all in line with Anderson’s incredibly cool style. Its community on Instagram is like a fun group you want to be a part of.
@thebreak
The Break is a shop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, that carries both vintage and contemporary designs. The founder Hannah Richtman sources everything herself, and the shop has some of the best vintage jeans and outerwear in a vast range of sizes. The shop holds flash sales and Instagram Stories sales, which are first come, first serve. I personally have notifications turned on.
The Folklore
@thefolklore
Based in NYC, The Folklore carries luxury and emerging African fashion brands. There is limited stock of each product, which boasts a mix of both statement pieces and everyday basics.
@shopthrilling
Thrilling is a network of local vintage boutiques across the country. All 150+ stores on the platform are independent businesses, and 95% of them are women- and POC-owned. It has an extensive amount of really eclectic statement pieces and staple items including incredible knits and statement jackets.
@vasquiat_official
Vasquiat is a membership-based online platform where members can pre-order next season’s collections at a discount. The site carries the coolest new international brands and trends—accessories and clothing included. The pre-order system also helps reduce the excessive production of goods.
@wconcept
An online center for over 1000 global independent designers, W Concept is a place to go if you want to find a specific item you’re looking for (think: “oversized collar blouse” or “double-breasted checkered overcoat”). The site also holds some of the best seasonal sales out there.
Wolf & Badger
@wolfandbadger
Originally based in London but now expanded to New York, Wolf & Badger is a marketplace exclusively for independent designers—over 1000 of them—that manufacture and source sustainably and ethically. To help you know what you’re shopping, W&B attributes icons to brands who have achieved a certain minimum standard across the different verticals of conscious retail and production.

If you’re like most consumers, online shopping is a normal part of your daily life. From groceries to electronics to fashion and everything in between, shopping online seems to be the way to go.
Whether it’s the appeal of shopping from your own home for everyday essentials or looking for great prices on brand-new items, there are many good reasons for shopping online. You get amazing benefits like finding more deals and a larger selection than you can indoors. Not to mention shopping in your pajamas!
Today, many online shopping websites make it easy to get what you want, so we’re here to talk about the best online shopping sites only.
Whether it’s due to selection, a fantastic online shopping experience, exemplary customer service, or just that the company offers free shipping, we’ve compiled a list of the top players in online shopping.
If you want to know where you should be shopping (and why), keep reading.
Let’s start with the best. Amazon has revolutionized the way we shop – for the better . They offer a huge selection, quick shipping, a valuable membership option, and that all-too-easy buy now button that speeds up the checkout.
Amazon doesn’t directly compete with independent designers; it hosts them. As an online marketplace , Amazon allows you to seamlessly shop through everything from toilet paper to collections from luxury brands and designer fashion (like Oscar de la Renta).
Although it started as an online bookstore , Amazon soon became much more – to the point that it’s hard to imagine life without it. For it’s March 2023 report, this ecommerce giant raked in $524.89B in revenue .
In addition to an endless selection, Amazon included arguably some of the fastest shipping times thanks to Prime. Prime is a membership option that gives participants exclusive access to everything from two-day shipping (or as fast as the same day) to discounts at other retailers (like Whole Foods) and video and music streaming.
Lastly, Amazon developed (and patented) the “buy now” button, making it ridiculously easy to purchase what you want quickly.
While Amazon is not necessarily known for the best customer service or rock bottom prices, it is undoubtedly one of the best online shopping sites that will deliver what you need (regardless of what that is) in record time.
Within the past few years, Amazon has stepped up its game with additions like Amazon Fashion, Amazon Echo, Ring Devices, and other smart technology!
While Amazon is dominated the world of ecommerce, its sellers may tell a different story. Sellers on Amazon make little to nothing, especially compared to the company’s startling revenue that only seems to be increasing. Selling on Amazon is a good way to dip your toe into the ecommerce business , but I wouldn’t go in with high expectations.
Much like Amazon, A libaba is an online marketplace with an extensive range of items . Coming in at around $126,491 million in 2023, It is the world’s number one business marketplace.
Want the latest style of graphic tees, personalized jewelry, or tech at affordable prices?
Alibaba and their sister company, AliExpress is the perfect service provider.
As a company based in China, the overseas aspect ensures competitive pricing on almost all products. It also typically comes with lower minimums for businesses purchasing items in bulk.
However, unlike Amazon, don’t expect that affordable price to come with quick delivery. There is no same-day shipping with Alibaba, and consumers can sometimes perceive purchases as lower quality .
If you’re looking for beauty products for daily use (and you’re almost out), stick with Amazon. If you’re selling beauty products in your business or as an online retailer , Alibaba is the go-to online site.
Walmart was a well-known brand long before online shopping was crucial to our daily lives. Not only is Walmart known for having a wide range of items, but it also established itself as a discount warehouse that competes on price.
As online shopping gained traction, so did Walmart’s own ecommerce solution.
In 2023 alone, online shopping resulted in more than $80 billion in sales from Walmart U.S., Walmart International, and Sams Club combined. It’s a simple, easy-to-use, and navigates website, and affordable options ensure the right combination for any savvy shopper.
While you won’t find luxury fashion on Walmart’s website, you will find current, cute clothes and everyday wear, home decor, grocery items, furniture, toys, and much more at cheap prices.
In addition to everything the site offers, Walmart utilizes the online shopping site seamlessly with its many brick-and-mortar retail locations . That gives anyone who shopped online options to choose delivery or in-store and curbside pick-up.
And if you don’t like what shows up, free returns by mail, scheduled pick-up, or the local store make it easy to shop confidently.

If you have spent any time at Home Depot, you know these home improvement warehouses offer everything from painting to gardening supplies and kitchen tiles to equipment rentals. And when it comes to online shopping sites, it’s no wonder they have made a seamless experience for the DIYer (or contractors needing supplies). This go-to supply brand has reached ecommerce success, bringing in just above $35 Billion for the fiscal three months that ended Jan. 29, 2023.
When you shop online with Home Depot, you have several delivery options. On most orders over $45, normal delivery is free, but you can also select a same-day delivery option within certain parameters. As you might expect, the cost depends on what you order. A pack of nails isn’t the same as a new washer and dryer, but just like other retailers we’ve covered, the individual stores act like their own warehouses to support the Home Depot online shopping experience.
Target, like Walmart, is an online retailer that is supported by its many retail locations.
Target is the ultimate destination for the latest styles for fashion lovers, from men’s and women’s clothing to kid’s clothing. Target is known for high-quality clothing and partnerships that have introduced designer brands into the retail space. In the summertime, expect to find amazing swimwear options, and they even have an incredible plus-size section. In addition, Target has areas for home goods, electronics, toys, groceries, and more in its own warehouses.
Target’s online stores took the in-store experience and introduced it to shoppers buying online, generating a revenue of $109.272B for the twelve months ending April 30, 2023. With a simple-to-use site that integrates seamlessly with stores, you can have same-day delivery and in-store or curbside pick-up options to get things done quickly and easily.
Target has a RedCard option that offers free 2-day shipping. Shipping is also free when you spend more than $35. And with sales and in-app offers, you can often find coupon codes to make your order even more affordable!
If you’ve ever shopped at a Best Buy store, you know they are the one-stop shop for all things electronics. With revenue for the twelve months ending April 30, 2023 at $ 45.118B billion, their online store makes the list of the best online shopping sites.
Whether you’re looking for a new tv, laptop, iPhone, or appliance, Best Buy is the major retailer in the electronics space.
In addition to selection, daily deals make it easy to save money on the Best Buy shopping site. And like some of the other online stores with retail locations, if you prefer to pick up in-store, Best Buy makes that easy too.
Shopping online for furniture can be daunting. Most items are larger than simple fashion items, but they’re also more intricate to assemble and need to be measured to fit into small spaces.
The good news is that Wayfair makes buying furniture easy with its online shopping website.
The first thing Wayfair does well is make finding what you need in a sea of items simple. Thanks to filters and sorting, you can narrow down an item quickly. They also integrate reviews and a high level of detail about every piece so you can get a better idea of how it will work in your house. Their intuitive shopping experience has certainly paid off since they reported $12.0 billion in net revenue for the twelve months ended March 31, 2023.
Wayfair’s online store isn’t completely free of shipping costs, but with a low cost of under $5 for orders under $35, you’ll rarely pay anything given the type of items they sell .
With revenue for the twelve months ending March 31, 2023 at $9.822B , it’s no shock that eBay made the list of top shopping websites. When it comes to online shopping sites, eBay is a recognizable name.
The site features millions of items, from vintage clothing and vintage pieces to designer items to electronics and rare postage stamps.
Online shopping was revolutionized when eBay created its marketplace, allowing individuals and businesses to sell items on the platform to the end user.
While pricing varies by vendor, the competitive nature of the site means that eBay has affordable prices compared to online shopping sites.
It also has buyer protection in place to make the online store more trustworthy than it might be to buy something from a stranger in another situation.
If you’re looking for something unique, whether new or old, skip the department stores and traditional online shopping sites in favor of a world that allows you to connect with anyone selling anything .
Famous for its bulk items, this shopping website report for the full-year 2023, they expect Costco’s Revenues to grow 8% y-o-y to $245 billion . The Costco model has relied on selling products in a warehouse, where buying in bulk helps support affordable prices.
At Costco, you can get anything from bulk cereals and toilet paper rolls to fine jewelry (like wedding rings) and home decor. Shopping at Costco can save money and introduce you to new and unique brands.
So how does the in-person experience compare to shopping at Costco’s online company website?
The first big difference that makes Costco one of the best online shopping sites is that the required standard membership doesn’t apply online. And while a 5% surcharge is added if you’re not a member, it still is competitive with standard pricing from other online stores.
When it comes to delivery, same-day delivery is free if you spend more than $35, and 2-day delivery is free if you spend more than $75.
Another difference that makes Costco’s online shopping website a top-tier option is that they offer more products (approximately 10,000) online, which is more than double what you’ll find in a typical warehouse.
Shopping at Costco online means you can access a wide range of products at competitive pricing and delivery time.
Kohl’s
You may enjoy shopping at Kohl’s if you’re looking to save money on stylish clothes, shoes, jewelry, and home goods.
Thanks to promotions like Kohl’s Cash and competitive pricing, Kohl’s has seen an increase in online revenue . And its online store provides even more access to trendy pieces and classic styles that satisfy everyone in the home.
Shopping at Kohl’s online gives you an amazing assortment of options due to Kohl’s online-exclusive items. With these items, you can feel unique knowing you have something that can’t be found in stores!
One of the reasons Kohl’s makes this list is because their commitment to value continues when you shop online. Visitors can easily use Kohl’s Cash, gain discounts by signing up for newsletters, and choose a local store to utilize in-store pick-up.
While Kohl’s may not be in the category of cheapest online shopping sites, it definitely provides an excellent option for anyone who wants to use an online fashion retailer that cares about delivering a good value.
Much like Wayfair, Overstock is known for selling items in the furniture and home decor market. They offer a wide range of items, from rugs to tables to lighting.
Overstock also makes it easy to find what you want on its massive online shopping website.
Another way Overstock makes buying furniture less daunting is by using testimonials for each item, clear descriptions, measurements, and more. But, unlike their competitor Wayfair, Overstock offers free shipping without the $35 minimum.
Overstock is one of the best online shopping sites if you’re in the market for furniture and you want free shipping for even the smallest items. Their amazing deals and free shipping have earned them a revenue of $381.14M in the quarter ending March 31, 2023 and a spot on the top shopping sites.
Another easily recognizable name in the ecommerce industry, Etsy is an unsurprising marketplace that makes our list of the best online stores with their revenue for the twelve months ending March 31, 2023 at $2.628B .
Unlike eBay, where items could be new, used, etc., Etsy is a marketplace for handmade items (Amazon has also entered this space with Amazon Handmade ).
If you want to purchase a table or rug but don’t want to buy it from one of the big-name retailers, you can jump over to Etsy’s online store and support a local artist who may be in another state or country.
You’ll find a wide mix of items on Etsy, from sustainable clothing to baby bibs to home decor items and more. Plus, you’ll be supporting an individual or small business rather than a large name.
Etsy makes it incredibly easy to shop small while maintaining a user-friendly experience.
Wish is on our top shoppers’ list because it is one of the cheapest online shopping sites and marketplaces.
Wish vendors sell items like women’s clothing, handbags, electronics, and various gadgets at deeply discounted prices. And while that is enough to make it fun to shop, it’s one of the only reasons it makes the cut for a top online store.
Due to the low prices, some consumers find that a woman’s clothing might look more like a child’s garment when they purchase it.
Fortunately, reviews are included, so be sure to check those as you have fun searching for anything at a discount.
Despite their extremely low costs and often mixed reviews, they are expecting revenue to be in the range of $91 million to $102 million for 2023!
Best Clothing Stores
Who doesn’t love the beauty of shopping at a clothing store? And shopping at one online only makes it that much better.
Now that we’ve covered a general list of the best online shopping sites , it’s time to jump into the best clothing stores. From those with designer clothes to free returns, we’ve got you covered. You’ll find everything from high-end brands to affordable fashion on these top clothing websites.
There are plenty of reasons to shop online, but if you’re looking for some great deals, check out our list of the best online clothing stores. All of these stores have their own handy, user-friendly apps that you can install through Android or iOS. Most of these stores are active on social media, so if you want to find the best deals on items like necklaces, t-shirts, outerwear, and more, be sure to check them out. Following stores on social media will also get you the chance to win prizes like gift cards.
Nordstrom is known among fashion lovers for its selection of designers (you’ll find Free People to Gucci here, among others) and its exceptional customer service. So when you shop online, you can expect that and more from this excellent brand.
One example is Nordstrom’s policies on shipping and returns.
You can choose whatever is best for you, including free shipping to a local store or an address of your choice. Drop your items off at a store or use the free mail option for returns.
Nordstrom’s online experience makes it easy to enjoy browsing and to feel confident when you shop.
Does Nordstrom’s price tag make you cringe? Not a problem. Nordstrom Rack is the ultimate savior for designer styles at amazing deals and is a sister brand to Nordstrom.
The first thing you’ll notice about Nordstrom Rack is its size. It’s not just smaller than most department stores, but it’s also smaller than many discount retailers. That means you’ll likely find better deals here for inexpensive luxury items. And if you don’t see what you want, they offer free shipping on all orders over $89.
With the popularity of Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack’s online stores combined , this brand had a value of 15.53B in January 2023.
Reporting a revenue of $ 3.93B to end the year last year, ASOS is a high-quality online retailer with over 850 clothing and cosmetics brands. The focus is on the latest styles, attracting a younger crowd looking for what’s current.
Online, ASOS makes it easy to sort through categories with numerous filters and attractive, inclusive sizing options.
When it comes to shipping, you’ll find a free option for orders over $50 and expedited options if you’re in a hurry. You can also send your order to a UPS or Nordstrom collection point, making it easy to get your trendy items on the double.
American Eagle Outfitters
American Eagle Outfitters is a great option if you’re on the hunt for youthful, trendy items. This shopping mall staple is projecting for the full year of 2023, to grow revenues 2.3% y-o-y to $5.1 billion . It has slightly better quality than competitors like Forever 21 but at a lower price point than ASOS and Nordstrom.
American Eagle Outfitters has a heavy focus on women’s clothing, including jeans and activewear, and you can shop its robust options in various departments.
Once you find what you like, you can usually find a good coupon code to make it more affordable. And, if you spend more than $75, shipping is free.
Need to return an item?
Thanks to American Eagle Outfitters retail locations, you can quickly return them in person for free or send them back by mail for a restocking fee of $5.
American Eagle Outfitters is the online shopping website for you if you’re looking for a wide selection of quality, stylish items in a mid-price range.
Looking for a fast fashion site that has it all? The UK retailer Boohoo is the place to shop for men’s and women’s trendy clothing. Boohoo typically has a higher price point than competitors like Forever 21, but the site features plenty of sales, so you can still get a good deal on what you love.
Another bonus of Boohoo is its line made of recycled materials that support a commitment to sustainability.
One thing to note, Boohoo isn’t as competitive on shipping, and you may not know where those items are coming from, so expect to spend $9.99 and up for shipping options and wait up to 8 days for delivery if you’re in the US. Despite the higher shipping costs and wait times, they still managed to make $1.78 billion USD in sales .
Boohoo owns a similar shopping website, Pretty Little Thing, where you can find an amazing selection of chic styles to choose from. Boohoo bought out Pretty Little Thing and has made the two brands staples in a stylish and sustainable fashion.

Who are the Top 1000 online retailers in North America? [Member-exclusive content]
Digital Commerce 360’s 2022 edition of the Top 1000 database, which ranks the largest online retailers in North America based on their 2021 web sales, is officially live. Our analysts have been busy studying the financial performance of the big players on this list and digging into other key performance metrics to identify ecommerce trends for our Top 1000 analysis report, which launches later this month. Here’s a sneak peek of some of our findings…
How did big retailers vs. SMBs grow online sales in 2021?
The upper echelon of the Top 1000 online retailers — those taking the Top 500 spots in the rankings — represented more than 96% of the larger group’s collective $1.01 trillion in 2021 ecommerce sales.
The Top 500 giants — like Amazon.com Inc. (No. 1 in the Top 1000), Walmart Inc. (No. 2), The Home Depot Inc. (No. 4) and Target Corp. (No. 5) — dominated retail headlines during the first year of the pandemic thanks to their large fulfillment networks and the explosion of demand for omnichannel services. But while this Top 500 cohort collectively increased online revenue by 45.7% year over year in 2020, their web sales growth slowed significantly to 15.5% in 2021. That was because shoppers returned to brick-and-mortar stores, and buy online, pick up in store and curbside offerings became less critical post-vaccine. Even so, these big names largely managed to maintain pandemic-driven gains in their digital divisions and even build upon them.
Meanwhile, the Second 500 online retailers — those ranked Nos. 501-1000 with $133.7 million or under in 2021 web sales — saw less fluctuation in their web sales growth during the last couple of years. This cohort may not have capitalized as much on the 2020 surge in ecommerce as shoppers turned to more familiar names with deeper supply chain connections, growing at 24.5%, or roughly half the rate of the Top 500. But the Second 500’s SMBs grew at a faster clip than the Top 500 in 2021 at 21.9% — driving up the performance of the overall Top 1000, which reached 15.7%.

If you have been in search of the best online shopping websites for clothes, we think eBay will be a good choice. Simply put, eBay is a marketplace where you can buy most everything – just know that you can’t always trust the seller.
It’s a reliable way of skipping the long queues as you can shop from global sellers. In order to alleviate buyer concerns, eBay also offers buyer protection, including refunds if need be, to ensure people can buy without any concerns.
The second best thing is the extensive range of filters, which allows the customers to trim down the search results to their liking. To illustrate, the filters include price, consumer ratings, color, size, and brand.
The customers can easily bid on different items to get stuff at a low price, but if you like, you can tap on the “buy it now” button and pay the specific price.
You don’t have to be a member of eBay to get the service, and the shipping is usually decided by the sellers. Even if the shipping fee is included, it’s a fraction of what other websites charge.
Also, the product categories include electronics, business, home, sports, personal accessories, clothing, art, and collectibles. eBay also works with buy now, pay later services like Sezzle .
Walmart has become a household name because of its affordable prices and a humongous range of products (it also allows third-party sellers).
It’s a good choice for people searching for the best discounts on online shopping websites. That’s because it’s a one-stop-shop and has amazing deals going on all the time. Some of the product categories include groceries, clothing, automotive supplies, household essentials, and electronics.
As far as affordability is concerned, Walmart offers seasonal promotions, rollbacks, and discounts to help you shop on a budget. Walmart offers home delivery as well as in-store pickup, so you can choose the most convenient delivery options.
The best thing is that the website is extremely user-friendly, and you can use the sorting options and filters to find the right product.
When you shop from the website, every product will have a feedback and review section, so you can check the real experience of the customers. Last but not least, Walmart’s customer support is exceptional despite the high volume of customers (they deserve a pat on the back).
Target is one of the best online shopping websites available, with a strong online presence. Ranging from groceries to furniture, home goods to electronics, and clothing to toys, they have everything under one roof.
Target is a reliable choice if you want in-trend products. The online store has a user-friendly, intuitive, and clean interface, so you can easily navigate and add items to the cart.
Target is pretty regular with discounts and promotions. However, if you shop too much, you can get yourself into the “Target Circle,” which is a loyalty program to help you save money.
For instance, when you keep purchasing from this website, you earn a Target Score, which can be used for various benefits. In addition, they keep collaborating with different designers and brands, so you can shop from the promotions (a great way of getting the latest items at a low price).
5. Best Buy
Best Buy is arguably one of the largest box retailers of electronic items and goods, and their online shopping website is really strong too.
They have an extensive product range, ranging from ebikes to the latest tech. They also allow third-party marketplace sellers now, so the product range is even greater.
What we love about Best Buy is that they have brick-and-mortar stores across the country. This means the delivery systems are faster and you can get any faulty products returned easily.

Top Online Fashion Stores in the USA: Key Insights
Market Revenues : Sales in the online fashion market surged during the pandemic. They continued to grow in the years after, but at a more moderate pace.
Shein on Top: With net sales of US$14.4 billion in 2023, Shein.com takes the lead over all other stores in U.S. Fashion eCommerce. Walmart.com ranked second and Amazon.com third, with their sales between US$9-12 billion.
Common Trends : Three of the top 5 online stores are successful offline retailers with an additional online presence. Find out what other strategies are working in U.S. online fashion.
Fashion products account for more than 21% of eCommerce sales in the United States. It is therefore the bestselling product category in U.S. eCommerce. Who are the top online fashion stores in the United States?
Shein , with its low-cost approach, has risen to the top of the market, outrunning established retailers in the game like Walmart and Amazon .
Learn about market sales, growth, top store performers and strategies for success in the U.S. online fashion world.
Top Online Fashion Stores in the USA: Sales Grow Steadily
But first, a broader look at revenues in the U.S. online fashion market:
In line with typical market developments, online fashion net sales jumped during the pandemic.
From US$121.8 billion in 2019 to US$194.3 billion in 2021 , revenues grew at a CAGR (2019-2022) of 26%. This means that, on average, the market grew by more than a quarter of its initial value each year.
After the pandemic, consumers had the chance to return to physical venues to shop for fashion. As a result, the growth in fashion eCommerce slowed, but remained positive.
The post-pandemic slowdown is reflected by a slight increase of revenues to US$206 billion in 2022 and US$214.6 billion in 2023 .
Projections for the coming years expect growth to accelerate again. For the entire post-pandemic period up to 2028, ECDB anticipates a CAGR (2022-2028) of 5%.
Top 5 Stores in the U.S. Fashion Market
The ECDB Market Page for the U.S. online fashion market includes the following ranking of top 5 eCommerce stores:
A notable observation is that two of the top five online platforms for U.S. fashion are established brick-and-mortar hypermarkets with an online presence: walmart.com and macys.com .
Shein generated US$14.4 billion fashion revenues in the U.S. in 2023.
Shein was projected to cross big retailers like Amazon and Walmart in the Fashion market - a milestone it finally achieved in 2023. Its net sales far exceed those of U.S.-origin retailers including Walmart and Amazon.
The basis of Shein’s business model is an acceleration of the fast fashion concept, which means that customer demand is instantly relayed to adjust production capacities. This method keeps costs down, reduces waste from excess inventory, and speeds up the production cycle. But it is also the source of growing criticism.
The presence of Walmart among the list of leading online stores reflects the importance of omnichannel business strategies. Walmart generated US$12.3 billion in online fashion revenues in the United States.
Recent initiatives by U.S. hypermarkets Walmart, Macy's, and Kohl's to appeal to a younger demographic coincide with Shein's rise in the global fashion market. Their prevalence also shows that U.S. online shoppers value convenience when shopping for fashion products.
As Walmart is the retailer that stands out for integrating modern features such as live shopping , this points to the importance of adapting one's offering to consumer preferences and market trends.
Amazon’s online fashion revenues are now behind both Shein and Walmart.
Amazon’s U.S. eCommerce fashion revenues have surpassed Shein's significantly until 2022, with US$10.3 billion for Shein versus US$8.4 billion for Amazon, respectively.
In 2023, Shein widened the gap with a US$5 billion difference in U.S. fashion revenues between the two.
Ultimately, ECDB analysts expect Shein to increase its lead over Amazon. With expected revenues of US$21.3 billion in 2025, Shein's growth is steeper than Amazon's.
Amazon opened two Amazon Style fashion retail stores to complement its online offering in a hybrid bid, but both stores were shuttered again at the end of 2023 .
The move came amid a wave of store closures in the books and devices segment, as well as layoffs to cut costs. The closure of the Amazon Style locations shows that while the stores were praised for their innovative setup and new technology, consumer response was not sufficient to continue with this concept.
Recent collaborations, such as with luxury secondhand online store Hardly Ever Worn It, show that Amazon is recalibrating its approach to succeed in online fashion.
Criticism: Worker’s Rights, Copyright Infringement, and Tariff Evasion
With instant consumer feedback technology, Shein offers more products at lower prices than other fast fashion retailers.
But there are less obvious costs elsewhere : To ensure high-volume production at low cost, workers produce garments in conditions widely considered inhumane, working long hours for very little pay.
Also common among low-cost fashion brands are allegations of copyright infringement , meaning that designs are taken from larger brands and lesser-known designers.
Growth Despite Criticism
Shein’s global online net sales grew at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR 2019-2021) of 133.7% during the pandemic, meaning that the company increased its revenue by more than 1.3 times its starting value each year during this period.
After the pandemic, growth continued, but at a slower pace.
With US$26.2 billion net sales in 2022, shein.com increased revenues by more than one third its value each year, at a CAGR (2022-2024) of 35.5%.
Taken together, this represents a CAGR (2019-2024) of 80.7% for the entire period. We predict US$48 billion in online revenues by 2024.
Why does Shein grow so rapidly? It is due to the company's retail strategy, which lures consumers with low prices, as well as extensive discounts and giveaways. Shein also has a highly trend-driven product assortment that swiftly changes and adapts to consumer demand in real time.

Almost Half of Gen Z Online Shoppers Have Purchased Items From Shein.com
The company is particularly popular among young consumers, as evidenced by data from Statista's Consumer Insights.
See how aware U.S. consumers are of Shein and what percentage of consumers has used the site. The results are broken down by generation.
The data shows an inverse relationship between age and familiarity with Shein .
Younger consumers, especially Gen Z, exhibit higher recognition and usage than older users: 83% are aware of Shein, with 41% having made a purchase.
While 77% of millennials recognize Shein, only 29% have shopped there.
Recognition drops to 58% for Gen X, with a 19% purchase rate.
For baby boomers, 39% are aware and just 12% have bought from Shein.
Shein's business model and extensive social media marketing is another factor responsible for the brand's tremendous success with younger users.
Walmart, Macy’s and Kohl’s are three generalist retailers that operate primarily offline, but their online offerings are increasingly supplementing their overall revenues.
This growth has been particularly evident since the pandemic, but the development below shows a clear trend:
Walmart.com is outpacing its direct competitors: With US$7.9 billion in 2020 to US$8.9 billion in 2021 and US$10 billion in 2022, online fashion sales gained traction during the pandemic.
By 2023 and projected 2024, Walmart.com is expected to have solidified its lead over Macy's and Kohl's.
Macys.com ranked fourth in the U.S. online fashion market by 2023, with US$6.4 billion in revenues. But its growth is expected to remain stagnant.
Kohls.com is the unfortunate tail light among the three, as online fashion net sales declined since 2020. They are expected to decline further into 2024, reaching US$4 billion in online fashion revenues.
Athletic fashion brand Nike 's main operating country is the United States. It generated US$4.5 billion in online fashion net sales in the country by 2023.
Check out the dedicated ECDB Store Page for nike.com. Future revenues are projected to keep growing, making Nike's prospects more positive than those of its direct competitor, Adidas .
Closing Thoughts: U.S. Online Fashion
Three out of the five top online stores in U.S. fashion are generalist retailers. This suggests the high value U.S. online shoppers place on convenience, i.e. one-stop shopping.
However, incumbents are looking out for low-cost competitor Shein. The ultra-fast fashion store ranked third in 2023 and is expected to surpass Amazon's fashion segment by 2024.
Shein's meteoric rise in the U.S. market reflects the importance of a trend-led product assortment and effective marketing: Younger users are driving the trend, because the low prices and social media marketing are most attractive to them.

The 11 Best Nude Lipsticks, According To Makeup Artists
- Share to Facebook
- Share to Twitter
- Share to Linkedin
Nude lipsticks enhance your natural lips without overpowering the rest of your makeup look, whether it’s a bold smokey eye or pop of color on the cheeks. The best nude lipsticks, like the Kevyn Aucoin Unforgettable Lipstick and Hermès Satin Lipstick , are among our top picks thanks to the flattering shades and lip-conditioning ingredients in their formulas.
The best nude lipsticks subtly enhance and define your natural lip color.
Finding the right nude lipstick for you involves looking at your undertones and natural lip color. Celebrity makeup artist J Guerra says cool undertones often have hints of blue or pink in them, so nude shades with slight pink or mauve tones work best. He recommends choosing a lipstick with peachy hues if you have warm undertones. “Neutral undertones can wear both cool and warm hues, so most nude shades complement those skin tones,” says Guerra. After testing many nude lipsticks and consulting with deputy editor Jane Sung and makeup experts, we’ve curated a list of our top picks.
- Best Nude Lipstick Overall: Kevyn Aucoin Unforgettable Lipstick
- Best Drugstore Nude Lipstick: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
- Best Luxury Nude Lipstick: Hermès Rouge Hermès Satin Lipstick
- Best Long-Wearing Nude Lipstick: Dior Rouge Forever Lipstick
- Most Versatile Nude Lipstick: Lisa Eldridge True Velvet Lip Color
- Best Non-Feathering Nude Lipstick: MAC Macximal Silky Matte Lipstick
- Best Sheer Nude Lipstick: Merit Signature Lip Lightweight Lipstick
- Best Matte Nude Lipstick: Nars Powermatte Lipstick
- Best Satin Nude Lipstick: Pat McGrath Labs SatinAllure Lipstick
- Best Glossy Nude Lipstick: YSL Loveshine Lip Oil Stick
- Most Nourishing Nude Lipstick: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick
Best Nude Lipstick Overall
An intensely pigmented formula with a creamy finish, kevyn aucoin unforgettable lipstick.

As a deputy editor, I edit, assign and write about all things beauty and grooming, from buzzy styling tools to celebrity skincare favorites. I’ve been a journalist covering style and travel for more than 15 years, and I’ve written about everything from the best international spas worth the long-haul flight to the art of French girl hair. My work has appeared in Condé Nast Traveler, Allure, NYMag, Teen Vogue, People, Afar and many more. Previously, I held senior editorial roles at Lucky magazine, NBC Universal and Cookie magazine. A California native, I majored in English and French literature at Amherst College and attended Columbia Journalism School.
What’s notable: This lipstick comes in five nude shades and provides intense color payoff. It’s also infused with nourishing ingredients like vitamins E and A.
What could be better: Due to the creaminess, the pigment can bleed slightly if used without a lip liner.
This Kevyn Aucoin Unforgettable Lipstick is my top pick for several reasons. The slim design ensures precise application, and the lipstick has rich color payoff. Another bonus: It’s made with nourishing ingredients, including vitamins E and A, to protect and condition your pout. The addition of beeswax helps the formula glide over lips and provides anti-inflammatory benefits.
Best Drugstore Nude Lipstick
A classic option that glides smoothly on lips.
Ulta Beauty
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
What’s notable: This product is very affordable, and the conditioning formula can help lips look fuller.
What could be better: Some say that the lighter shades require several coats to be noticeable.
Over the past year, I’ve used this Revlon lipstick at least a few times weekly. For $11, it doesn’t feel too precious to save for special occasions, yet it still looks luxe. The creamy formula glides smoothly onto lips, leaving them feeling conditioned and soft. It also minimizes lip lines and gives your mouth a subtly plumped look. In terms of shades, there’s a wide range of nude hues, so you’re likely to find an option that matches your skin tone.
Best Luxury Nude Lipstick
A refillable lipstick that's artfully designed.
Bloomingdale's
Hermès Rouge Hermès Satin Lipstick
What’s notable: It leaves your lips looking supple and soft. The packaging is gorgeous and makes application feel luxurious, right down to the satisfying magnetic click to secure the cap.
What could be better: There are only two nude shades to choose from, and this lipstick is on the pricier side.
This luxurious pick has a comfortable, satin finish and looks like an art object, whether displayed on your bathroom vanity or pulled out of your purse. The tube is refillable, so you can add a fresh bullet for under $50. “This lipstick has a nice creamy texture and feels comfortable on,” says Sung. “It doesn’t necessarily last too long since it’s a satin formula, but the nude versions wear off in a subtle, flattering way.” Although there are only two nude hues (Beige Kalahari and Beige D’Automne), the shades do not disappoint.
Best Long-Wearing Nude Lipstick
Gives up to 16 hours of full coverage, dior rouge forever lipstick.
What’s notable: Dior’s transfer-proof lipstick is ultra-pigmented, lasts up to 16 hours and comes in several nude colors.
What could be better: Some reviewers say the colors don’t exactly match the online photos, and the formula can be a tad drying.
This long-lasting lipstick from Dior has a transfer-proof formula (resistant even to fabrics) and lasts up to 16 hours for a full day of wear. Key ingredients include red peony extract for hydration and jojoba seed oil for a comfortable feel. There are various browns, beiges and rosy hues to choose from, and even the paler shades are nicely pigmented. If you tend to have dry lips, you might want to apply a light balm on top for extra hydration throughout the day.
Most Versatile Nude Lipstick
A velvet matte lipstick with a slight sheen, lisa eldridge true velvet lip color.
What’s notable: This creamy, highly pigmented formula gives you the best of both worlds—a velvet matte finish with a slight sheen.
What could be better: There are limited nude shades to choose from.
If you’re looking for something with a velvet finish that’s long-lasting but still has a subtle sheen, you can’t go wrong with Lisa Eldridge’s True Velvet Lip Color. Celebrity makeup artist Jeannia Robinette is a fan of this lipstick in the color Velvet Fawn: “It gives the feel of Brigitte Bardot and chic French girls back in the day. If you want a dramatic nude look, it’s highly pigmented with a 3D finish.” Robinette recommends pairing the Velvet Fawn shade with the Victoria Beckham Beauty No. 1 Lip Definer to have more dimension.
Best Non-Feathering Nude Lipstick
A pick that stays put for up to 12 hours, mac macximal silky matte lipstick.
What’s notable: This silky matte lipstick is non-feathering and gives up to 12 hours of wear.
What could be better: A few reviewers noted that several old, beloved shades are unavailable. Some users say it can be a little drying on lips over time.
If you’re constantly on the go or want to avoid touching up your lips throughout the day, this non-feathering and non-bleeding lipstick is for you—the color is designed to last up to 12 hours. What’s more, it instantly makes lips look fuller with each swipe. The formula also stands out because it’s non-caking and layers well, which is especially important with nude hues that might need several coats for more impact. There are 38 colors in total, including pinky nudes and soft browns.
Best Sheer Nude Lipstick
A nourishing option that feels light as air, merit signature lip lightweight lipstick.
What’s notable: This satin lipstick has a very lightweight formula that has a sheer satin finish. It also contains stabilized vitamin C that helps diffuse the appearance of fine lip lines.
What could be better: Some say the product can bleed.
You might just forget you’re wearing lipstick with Merit’s lightweight lipstick; but if you look in the mirror, you’ll be reminded that you swiped on a nude lipstick that subtly levels up your lips. Sung recommends this pick, and it’s easy to see why. The color is buildable so that you can layer on several coats for a bolder look. It’s also worth noting that the formula contains squalane, sunflower seed oil, papaya fruit extract and raspberry oil to nourish and hydrate.
Best Matte Nude Lipstick
A highly-pigmented bullet with a smooth, matte finish, nars powermatte lipstick.
What’s notable: This highly pigmented lipstick requires only one swipe, and has a smooth, matte finish.
What could be better: It can feel dry on the lips, according to some reviewers.
Ideal for those seeking a true matte finish, this cream-to-matte listick lasts for up to 10 hours and gives lips a beautiful wash of color. Plus, it’s transfer-resistant, so it’s less likely to require reapplication through the day. Choose between several nude shades, such as Sweet Disposition (a pink-beige) for a your-lips-but-better look.
Best Satin Nude Lipstick
Silky-smooth color with luminosity, pat mcgrath labs satinallure lipstick.
What’s notable: This formula gives a noticeable dewy effect and keeps lips soft and moisturized.
What could be better: Some reviewers say this lipstick tends to transfer through the day.
This lipstick has a luxe satin finish and gives buildable color that never feels cakey. Plus, there are several nude options to choose from to suit a variety of skin tones. Key ingredients like botanical collagen and passion fruit extract are helpful for hydrating, conditioning and nourishing lips.
Best Glossy Nude Lipstick
Lip oil in a lipstick, ysl loveshine lip oil stick.
What’s notable: This hybrid formula contains nourishing oils for a smooth application and comfortable wear.
What could be better: Reviewers say that this pick is not long-lasting.
Both Guerra and Robinette recommend the YSL Loveshine Lip Oil Stick, which is a hybrid lipstick and lip oil. Guerra’s favorite nude in the collection is the Melted Honey. “It’s a rich, beige nude with a glossy finish that hydrates the lips while providing a burst of color that’s both vibrant and understated,” he says. Robinette is a fan of the Rosy Sand shade (a light peach nude), saying, “It’s a creamy formula that’s not cakey.”
Most Nourishing Nude Lipstick
An antioxidant and vitamin infused pick, charlotte tilbury matte revolution lipstick.
What’s notable: It contains conditioning ingredients like orchid extract and vitamin E to give lips a soft, silky texture.
What could be better: Although it has staying power, it can transfer if you eat and drink with it on.
I’m impressed every time I swipe on Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipstick in the signature Pillow Talk shade. The brand’s 3D glow pigments help to make my lips look fuller and more defined. And this nude pink is a great shade in particular because it doesn’t make me look washed out. Even with a matte finish, the ingredients help keep my lips feeling hydrated even after hours of wear. Although I have this lipstick in other shades, I keep returning to Pillow Talk, as it goes with every look and occasion.

Should Nude Lipstick Be Lighter Or Darker Than Your Skin Tone?
The right nude lipstick shade for you is based on preference but the key tip is to go either darker or lighter than your natural skin tone. Guerra is more partial to nude lipsticks that are slightly deeper than your natural skin tone. “Choosing a shade that is too light can wash you out, while one that's slightly darker can enhance your natural lip color and complement the rest of your makeup look,” he says. “Find the right balance by selecting a shade that subtly enhances your lips without clashing with your natural skin tone.”
On the other hand, Robinette prefers nude lipsticks that are one or two shades lighter than your natural skin tone. “This helps to lift and brighten your face,” she says.
